The Energy Around Us3/4/2019
Energy flows in abundance through everything around us, connecting us all in a delicate web. Learning to unravel the threads can be a lifelong endeavor; it is all too easy to get caught in these invisible bonds.
(Image source spirit111 on Pixabay) When people think of magic or mystical energy, the most common image that comes to mind is a flashy display. Maybe it's a ball of glowing power, or a blaze of fire stretching from the palm. In reality, the forces themselves are typically much less visible. However, like magnetism and gravity, invisible forces can have an incredible impact we can see. Whether Sensed Or Not Some can sense these underlying forces, while others remain ultimately oblivious to them. The line isn't clear on who can and can't, either. Intuition and wishful thinking can become intertwined with empathic abilities and psychic mastery. At best, the line is a blurry mess. In my experience (and personal opinion), the decision to submit completely to the idea of mysticism can bring catastrophe. I've seen people delude themselves by believing their opinions and hopes to be messages of coming fortune, ending up sorely disappointed by logically predictable events afterward. So, too, can omens be mistaken for random chance. Completely disregarding the mystical can be just as damaging as well. Whether you are sensitive to these energies or not, you can still develop the ability to observe its effects. In fact, you likely already utilize psychic energy without even realizing it. |

Meditating Magically Mundane
A simple meditation practice can reveal these invisible threads at work around you:
Find a quiet spot where you can sit comfortably and watch nature at work. This could be a local park, natural landmarks, or your own back yard. Observe the relationship between plants, insects and critters playing out in front of you. While doing this, resist the urge to make judgments or draw conclusions- simply observe. If you aren't sure what that means exactly, practice traditional meditation first (eyes closed, letting thoughts come and go without attachment).
Over time, you will begin to notice the first few minutes or so your energy impacts the overall threads of the area. With focus, you can exercise limiting your energy's influence to observe the web. The more successful you are at containing your own energy (aura, spirit, etc.), the less the animals will notice and consider your presence. If you have a glass patio door or large window, this can greatly diminish your energy's effects without great effort.
Eventually, observing the small sample of an ecosystem will begin to reveal invisible patterns, and ultimately help you better sense the flow of energy.
More specific examples of how the threads can be witnessed will be posted on the Patreon page. Feel free to comment your experiences and ask questions!
