Wealth Is In The Mind
A healthy mind and body are essential to metaphysiological wealth, as they are the foundation to metaphysical and spiritual practices. The richness of one's relationships historically factored into wealth by determining one's available opportunity through networking connections. However, even the basic concept of money and other riches are mental constructs as well.
In the past, material wealth was determined by the quality and quantity of food, clothing, and other materials available to a person. Money sprung up to standardize trading, and became the "easy button" to determining a person's physical wealth. However, that system isn't as clear-cut as it once was.
Today, two families with the same income and needs aren't necessarily equal in wealth. How the wealth is managed, spending, saving and the maintenance of household resources play a big part in perceived wealth. Knowledge of how to care for what external wealth one has is the internal wealth that seems to precede actual riches.
More Than Knowing
Even deeper than knowledge alone are the beliefs an individual has about money and their relationship with it. You can make a decent income and still feel unsuccessful, and may not think of yourself as wealthy. Or you may hate money, creating habits of spending to ensure you are always broke. Instead of starting on the outside, this blog will help you search within to find the source of your wealth issues.
Positive Action From Positive Thinking
Many "mystics" have tried to sell the idea that you can think yourself into wealth. While metaphysiology recognizes there's an element of truth to that concept, it is by no means the whole truth. Action, not thought, is what produces the real results.
Thoughts and beliefs can limit your awareness of opportunities to take action, and replacing them with beneficial ones can motivate you toward beneficial actions. However, there is no evidence to support the idea that doing nothing and focusing on blind faith will somehow bring you money. If it did (or does), the technique would be too difficult to master for the average person to take advantage of anyway.
What To Expect
The wealth blog is all about finding new ways of thinking to help generate, maintain and manage wealth. There are no one-size-fits-all methods, and so it is up to you to determine what elements may benefit you and what doesn't seem lucrative.
It is important to note that this blog is not a replacement for professional financial advice. Depending on your specific financial goals, having a professional adviser may be necessary for financial success. However, not all financial advisers will have your best interests as their primary goal. This blog can help you stay informed in ways that may be outside an adviser's expertise.
May success and wealth be in your future as you continue through the wealth blog!
